Pain is only weakness leaving the body.

Our story

How do you choose the right hot sauce or BBQ sauce at the grocery store? Why do companies need to use extracts and flavours, can't they just use whole ingredients? These are the things that bothered me so much I decided to start making my own hot sauce. I was tired of spending a bunch of money on hot sauce I was always disappointed with, you just can't get a truly good flavour and heat using chemicals and extracts. So when I started to develop my own sauces I made it my mission to use fresh home grown ingredients, and make something that's shelf stable without the use of toxic preservatives. After many years of trial and error, research on food safety and storage, Feel the Burn Hot Sauce was born.

If you've ever been rock climbing, you know the burn you get in your forearms after a good session. Being an avid climber I've gained my inspiration for heat levels from the pain experienced while climbing. While I'm not a pro I can appreciate a spicy crack climb or a gnarly crimp.

While my love of climbing contributes to the heat, the flavours of Feel the Burn stem from the foodie in me. With over 12 countries under my belt and an adventurous taste in food, my sauces are made to pair perfectly with all sorts of dishes. If you like what we do, keep an eye out, you never know what my travels might inspire next.

Grown Fresh

Anything we can grow we do! Pineapples are a little challenging in a canadian climate, so we stick with the important parts; peppers, onions, spices, etc. Our greenhouse helps extend the growing season up to two months producing as many peppers as needed to supply all the hot sauce we produce.
